The Last King

I have only a few words to share right now, and they are as follows: I finished my book, The Last King. Finally!
Well, I finally finished the first draft. It took me a whole year to do. It’s a mess of a book, but now I can start chiseling away at the pieces.
What a journey it has been. To think, I started off telling a story with a black vampire in the lead and now? A whole new different breed of immortal characters has been created.
I plan on completing a second and third draft by December.
I suppose I will have to start working on my one sentence pitch for the book.
How about this….
Love. Your. Enemy.
Or maybe this…
True love can be a real killer.
Naw, because there’s so much more to the story than just one little grab line.
We’ll see. I am celebrating by relaxing. Tomorrow begins a new wave of edits.
Ciao for now,
